We would like to start off by saying thank you for visiting our site, and taking the time to read about us and our family.
Together we have had dogs and pit bulls in our lives since were just kids. We both have a large respect for animals, especially the APBT's.
Three years ago we got our fist ABPT that we have owned together, her name is Ivory Whitelady Dasinger. Ivory has just been a absolute joy in our life and has changed the minds of many misjudging people in our local community.
One of the biggest debates in the dog world is the safety of having an ABPT, and in my personal opinion I will say owning an APBT has been the most rewarding experience. We are strong believers in the way that a animal is raised will play a large part in the way that an animal lives it life, in anger or in harmony. If a dog, any type of dog, is shown love and respect. If they are socialized with family and friends, and other dogs in your life they will treat all of those people with the same love and respect that has been shown to them. These dogs want nothing more than to please us, there are not very many people I can say that about. Of course dogs need discipline and to know who is in charge. Or as Cesar Millan would say, "they need to know who their pack leader is." It is so true, a dog is some what like a child. A child is given love from the day he or she is born and as that child grows the training begins. They are shown discipline, and they are taught to respect you and others or there will be a price to pay. Training a dog is about the same, the way you speak to them is different and maybe even the way you scold them for doing wrong. But in the end if you work with them and always show that you are in charge then they will follow your every command, doing what you want just to please you day in and day out.
We now have three dogs in our little family, and all of them are just a joy to be around. We have started breeding our dogs because we hope to help people see that these dogs are good animals and can be trusted. We have full interaction with the puppies from the time they are born, every day we spend more and more time with them. Already getting these little babies use to the love we hope their new families will also give.
